The Fall Class Schedule is posted!

The Fall Class Schedule is posted! Here's the link!.

I am astounded that summer is almost over and I haven’t started my holiday gift crafting! If you find yourself in the same pickle, you will be delighted to find that our fall schedule holds many solutions to your problem. Our instructors have offered up a number of quick and easy project classes this time around as well as opportunities to finish up the ones that went to 'time out'.

We have found a new independent dyer that we will be featuring for a bit for our ‘Yarn of the Month.’ Marian of Marianated Yarns has supplied us with some really fun sock yarns the past couple of months and we intend to continue to feature them for a while. There will be a trunk show of Marianated Yarns in November.
There are also plans for a Fiesta Yarns Trunk Show, a book signing and a "Let's Do Lunch KAL" where we pair up a KAL with a Lunch Special at our favorite downtown restaurant.

Diane Marie is bringing bring back Bobbin Lace and introducing us to two beautiful, old lace techniques- Oya Needle Lace and Beaded Oya.
Our crochet instructors have a bunch of new things that will be great for gifts. Pictures will be posted as the samples come in.

Someone asked us if we had anything for teens to do, you know, not kids, but not yet adults. Since the answer was not really, we pondered for a bit, put it out to our teachers and figured let’s try a couple of fun classes for teens and see what happens. We are starting off with two scheduled during the holiday break and we hope to add more as we discover what these young folks want to do and when they can do it.

The Light Rail construction will clear out in the downtown area September 30.  Remember we are part of Metro’s Max Rewards program. Sign up for a Metro Max Rewards card on Metro Light Rail’s website, then show your card for a yarn discount.

Class prices have not increased here at the Fiber Factory since, well, since dirt. Unfortunately things like rent, utilities and insurance have increased in ridiculous amounts in the ensuing years. We have come to the sad realization that we need to increase the cost of classes a bit to offset our expenses in hosting them.  After researching what other shops are charging and input from a number of our customers, we decided that we needed to make some small changes in our price structure. Our classes are still the best value in town, and the variety continues to exceed all others.

And in spite of any and all rumors to the contrary, we are still here to help and encourage you to the completion of a successful project, and to serve your yarny needs.

Don't forget our Rewards Card
Yarn-a-Holics Anonymous 12 Stamp Rewards Program
Come in and pick up your card. Get a stamp when you purchase $25 or more in a visit. Turn in your filled card (12 stamps), and get $25 off on you next purchase. WOW!
